Main Ingredients

  • 3 large kale leaves, stems removed
  • 1 medium green apple, cored
  • 1 large lime, skin removed
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves (about 4-8 leaves depending on the size of the lettuce)
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill Or substitute with another fresh herb like mint
  • 1 cup water For using a blender

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the cucumber into large pieces that will fit through the feeding tube of a juicer.
  • If using a blender, cut the produce into smaller pieces.

Juicing

  • If using a juicer, run the vegetable and fruit pieces through it. Collect the juice in a pitcher and serve immediately.
  • If using a blender, add cucumber, green apple, lime, kale, lettuce, and dill. Blend on high for 20-30 seconds until smooth.
  • Pour the blended juice through a nut milk bag, squeezing to drain the juice into a pitcher. Discard the pulp or save it for another purpose.

Serving

  • Serve the juice immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 24 hours. You can freeze the juice in ice cube trays for later use.
