  • 150 g sugar
  • 100 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet baking powder (about 2 tsp)

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F and grease a round cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until smooth.
  • Add the plain yogurts and mix well for a creamy blend.
  • Sift in the flour and baking powder, then stir until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

Baking

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden on top, and the center is set.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely before removing it from the pan.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired. For an even creamier texture, chill in the fridge for a few hours.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother batter. You can add lemon zest, vanilla extract, or chocolate chips for variations. Ensure the cake is completely cool before frosting or dusting.
